My science teacher was so fun and she was so good at teaching, I loved being in her class. – Ari
“I really enjoyed my lessons, particularly Science lessons. So thank you, once again, to all the teaching staff involved in my education.”

Academic Programme

With easy access to the internet, the acquisition of knowledge is less important than it used to be, whereas the ability to evaluate, adapt and apply knowledge in a variety of different contexts has become crucial.

Students on our academic programme study four different academic themes over the two weeks:

People
and Place
Applied
Mathematics
Scientific
Enquiry
Creativity
and the Arts

Within each theme students are taught how to research, organise, evaluate and apply knowledge to different situations.

This is the perfect course for students who want to develop their study and critical thinking skills and to become confident, independent learners.

Exceptional
Experiences

Students are encouraged to think creatively, take risks and draw on their own experiences and the experiences of others.

Students have the opportunity to work individually or as part of a team and to present their work in the form of reports, essays and presentations.

Lessons allow time for discussion, debate and collaborative working.

Learn how to transfer knowledge and skills to the world of work or be able to articulate views and ideas as they take up their role in society. Our Junior Academic course is designed to develop and hone these skills.
