Our Senior Pre-Medical course provides an engaging and comprehensive introduction to the world of medicine, giving students a realistic insight into what a future career in healthcare involves.
Combining classroom-based learning with practical, hands-on activities, the programme allows students to explore both the scientific foundations of medicine and the essential skills needed to succeed in the field.
Students are introduced to key areas such as human biology, anatomy, and how the body functions in health and disease. These topics are brought to life through interactive lessons, case studies, and problem-solving exercises, encouraging students to think like medical professionals while developing strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
A key highlight of the course is the opportunity to take part in Q&A sessions with experienced medical practitioners. These sessions give students valuable first-hand insight into working in hospitals, GP surgeries, and research environments, helping them better understand the challenges, responsibilities, and rewards of a medical career.
The programme also explores a wide range of career pathways within medicine and offers useful guidance on university applications, including subject choices, personal statements, and what top medical schools look for. By the end of the course, students will have gained confidence, direction, and a solid foundation to support their ambitions of pursuing a future in medicine.
